What are arcs?
Arc’s are our version of Episodic content releases. As the choices and progress you make in Hunk Empire cross over into the next arc, we’ve found episodes to not fit the structure correctly.
Do I need to have Hunk Empire’s base game?
While you can run Hunk Empire – Arc2 independantly of having the base game, we highly recommend having the base game installed too.
As running Arc2 without the base game might cause errors and you’d also be missing out on a lot of the game’s story.
When will Arc2 release on Steam?
Arc 2 of Hunk Empire is currently under development through the monthly subscription platform FullFrontal Plus on Patreon.
Once development has finished, arc2 will also become available as DLC for the Hunk Empire base game.
Will Steam players receive the same content as Patreon players?
The Steam version will comply with Steam’s content guidelines. Any differences between editions will always be clearly communicated.
Will there be female characters?
Hunk Empire focuses on relationships between male characters. While female characters may appear in supporting roles, they are not intended as romance options.
Is Hunk Empire a visual novel or a management game?
Both. Hunk Empire combines visual novel storytelling with studio management mechanics, allowing players to balance business decisions, performer relationships, and story progression.
Can I fail the game?
While certain choices may affect relationships, scenes, or outcomes, the game is designed to focus on storytelling rather than punishing failure states.
Do choices matter?
Yes. Player decisions influence relationships, unlockable scenes, and how various storylines develop over time.
How often does Hunk Empire – Arc 2 receive updates?
Our goal is to release one game update each month but development schedules may vary depending on the size and complexity of each update.
Why does an update take so long?
Each update involves writing, rendering, coding, testing, and localization work. While we strive to release updates as efficiently as possible, quality remains our priority.
Do I need Patreon to play Hunk Empire?
No. Patreon is one way to support development, but it is not required to enjoy the game.
You can also obtain Hunk Empire – Arc 2 upon it’s steam release, with the added benefits of having your game install managed by steam itself.
