Hunk Empire – Version 0.4.5 brings some really big code changes under the hood. If you’ve played earlier versions, you might not notice it right away, but we’ve done some heavy renovations to the game’s core in preparation for bringing Hunk Empire to platforms beyond Patreon. These changes make the game run more smoothly on slightly older systems and lay the groundwork for our upcoming monthly distribution system. More on that next week. Daniel is still cooking up his part of the news!

Content-wise, this update is a little lighter than usual, but it marks the start of rolling out some long-planned features. One of the first improvements: the gallery now displays scene names for locked images, after we noticed many of you asking things like “How do I unlock the fifth scene?” This should make it easier to track what’s what.

And we’re not done revamping yet! The production planner and store inventory systems are next on our list. We’d love to hear your thoughts. What do you enjoy about them as they are now, and what would you like to see improved? Your feedback will help us shape the next stage.

Each report automatically is added to the bugreport.txt file in the game’s main directory with your provided bug/typo info and gameplay data.
